Abstract
For the purpose of evaluating the lung function of silicotuberculosis of 47 coal minors, we measured lung volume, ventilatory capacity and diffusion capacity. The results are summerized as follows;
1) Duration (years) of work in most of coal miners was 10¡19 years, as increasing category consists with large opacity of radiographic findings.
2) For lung volume, it is apparent that the subject with obstruction had higher RV and TLC in category 1,2,3 than chose without obstruction significantly and even nonobstructive subject alto had increased lung volume.
3) For ventilatory capacity, %FEV1, in category 3 was 65.8¡¾12.8%, which is significantly lower than those of category 1 & 2, and tooted obstructive pulmonary deject.
4) For relationship of diffusing capacity to size of radiographic opacity, in r sire opacity 85.0¡¾20.0% which was lower than those of p or q size of opacity tut not significantly.
